Red Rose Garden Rooms is a family-run business based in Poulton-le-Fylde, with more than 25 years of joinery and building experience behind every project we put up.
The business grew out of the simple idea that a garden room shouldn't be a flat-pack compromise. It should be designed for the garden it's going in, built on site by people who genuinely know what they're doing, and finished to a standard that still looks right ten Lancashire winters from now.
We started small, working mostly on word-of-mouth recommendations across the Fylde. These days we're busier than we ever expected to be, but the way we work hasn't changed.
What "Family-Run" Actually Means In Practice
It's a phrase a lot of businesses use. Here's what it actually means with us.
You deal with the same people from start to finish. The person who comes out for the site visit is the person who'll be on the tools when the build starts. We don't subcontract the actual building out to whoever's free that month. There's no project manager you've never met, no surprise faces on your driveway.
We're properly local. Based in Poulton, working across the Fylde Coast, Preston, Garstang and up to Lancaster. We know the back lanes, the conservation pockets, the local merchants, and the planners. When we say we cover an area, we genuinely cover it — most weeks we'll be in three different towns by Wednesday.
We use locally sourced materials wherever we can. Timber, fixings, plasterboard, doors and windows — most of what goes into a Red Rose garden room comes from suppliers we've worked with for years, mostly within Lancashire. Better materials, better builds, and money kept in the local economy.
We build on site, not in a factory. Every garden room we put up is constructed on your property, designed for your specific garden — not assembled from a flat-pack template. It's a slower way of doing things. It's also why our rooms last.
